In my opinion the definitive answer is…..it depends. But what I’m wondering are full squats and plyometric (jump landings) the safest exercises for you to perform or are they creating inflammation of the knee? Consider that the meniscus is what disperses the load between the femur and tibia and you’ve had 50% cut out. With out it there is greater chance of bone on bone contact when the knee is in full flexion and extension, especially when under load which can then create inflammation=pain+discomfort. Maybe you can consider doing dead lifts, riding a bike, modified wall sits, etc. |
