the used board market is FLOODED with smaller thrusters and quads from what I see most of the time, but I've had a hard time finding a 8'-8'6" hybrid or speed-egg something or other in the $300 range, if any at all. Not too many "mid sized" deals out there that I've seen...I'm still seeing for example, 8'0" CI M13 well used, for $450-500
question: better to buy off say CL, or a "reputable" shop?
