I've found that a board this short benefits from being a little skinnier. It still has the same benefits of fitting into tight pockets, but it also straightens the outline a little, giving you a longer rail line and helping you drive a smaller board down the line. When a 5'6 or 5'7 hp stubby is 19 inches wide or more, there is too much curve in the outline for me. I find it a bit cumbersome to go from rail to rail and get the down the line speed I like.
