the bonzer bros claim its cuz standard side fins resist going on rail. i say bs. its usually someones adjustment to go up the face and hit a specific portion of the lip, when a standard bottomturn from their location wouldnt get them there.
I disagree. My Bonzer shortboard goes on rail easier than any board I have ever ridden. I'd almost say it resists going off of rail whereas a normal board resists going on rail.
This difference in feel is probably why we aren't all riding Bonzers instead of thrusters right now.
