At&t vs Verizon plans (nsr)
|
|
Thoughts on which one has better services and features for the price? Getting an iPad with a wifi plan for work, and an iPhone.

T-mobile is cheaper for the same rate plans & same service. Plus, Att will be buying Tmobile pretty soon. So, the up side is you get a cheaper plan locked in

The only reason to even think about T-mobile...
.. would be the T-Mobile Girl Carly Foulkes

if you can wait, Apple is suspected to release an iPad 3 in March that will run on the LTE network/4g network (faster than 3g) as well as have a quad core chip which will be significantly faster than the current model.
if not. I had one on at&t, used it all up and down CA in cars and always got decent 3g speeds.

The deal will be back on the tablet again. I have the same rate plan & data plan I used with Att & its still cheaper. They also sell smartpads & plans for those pads.
as I stated in round 1 Tmobile has the same coverage & cheaper than Att. Plus, in the near future you will have a cheaper plan locked in with ATT if it does happen

Thank you also. I'll wait for the iPad 3 release and buy the iPhone now. I'm wondering if any of the service providers offer bundled data plans for having both but I can't find info. Each offers different features on the iPhone (facetime, tethering, et). The AT&T store wait for a clerk is like the DMV so I am searching online.

Biggest reason I switched is the sameday I walked into an ATT store. Went into the see an upgrade offer phone before I bought it off the ATT site. It took forever to get assistance. Then when the sales person saw I wasn't buying it from Him. His attitude turned & really didn't want to show me the difference in all the smart phones on the upgrade offer they sent me. Which 1st required him to look the offer up online. Walked out into the mall I didn't want to be in anyway saw an T-mobile store. Signed a contract for a 2yrs agreement, walked into the ATT store & said asked the same guy to make sure my number was being transferred. My son was so embarrassed

For the iPad: With Verizon, you don't have to sign a contract. You can pay month to month for their 3G plan. So, if you aren't traveling with it you can just use wifi, then reactivate 3G service, when you need it. I'm not sure if AT&T offers the same thing, or not.
