Retodd Fin Recommendations
|

Thanks for the Twinzer size recommendation a few months ago - it's perfect. Good drive, but also small enough to not cause the backside bottom turn problems I get with too much fin.

Gotta add some props as well - went with Retodd's recommendation a while back to use the new FCS MF fronts and G1000 flat foiled rears on a new mid size quad, working great, so mucho gracias!!

MF-1 fronts and K2.1 rears are my favorite quad set-up ever. The MF-1s are surprisingly large. I'd Imagine the MIck Fannings would go good with the Gx-Q rears as well. PC-8 can't come close to this fin's drive, speed, snap. Retodd hit on the perfect quad setup.

Based on Retodd, I also just plugged in MF-1 fronts and GX flat sided rears in my wide round tailed quad -- hope to have a ride report soon..

Was it you talkin True Ames T.P. quad set, specifically the 80/20 rears? I sampled and now ride em in almost all my boards, regardless of tail width. Thanks.

I'm sorry that you think everything is an attack against you. I think the term "ball washing" is funny, hence the quote that only says "ball washing" and the laughing emoticon. Really has zero to do with you. Also, don't think you know anything about me, my life, or why I might be on here.

You may have n shore, but we have beachwood bbq.
My wife and i enjoyed fried green tomatoes and plinys the other night.
What board did you surf out on the north shore?

A+ for your time with the wife on the weekend.
We left for the North Shore at 12;00 just about when you posted this for a long hike with friends.
I have a 9' 5 fin longboard
6'2" Modern Fish 5 fin
6'3" 3 - 4 that Dane Kealoha is using
My 6'3" 5 fin was broke by a shaper friend of mine
7'2' 5 fin
Lots of room for new ones
After our hike we ate at Cholo's and then went to Wylands to talk to Matthew the manager.
He is trying my 6'2" Modern fish and loves it.
