Cote actually rips. That video doesn't even do him justice. I see him surfing a fair amount and I've seen him do some pretty sick air reverses, big turns etc. Most of the time he kinda just messes around but if waves are good or he wants to surf he definitely can. I know he used to be sponsored/semi pro back when you actually had to surf good, but wisely chose to turn that into a career at transworld rather than chase the dream like so many guys do.
He's also really cool in person, says hi to everyone, is really mellow in the water, etc.
I get the hate, cause I can see how he can get annoying on webcasts, etc but in reality he's a pretty mellow cool dude.
