Sorry my dogs don't surf, but it's still surf related because sometimes if i can't find a wax comb i use their claws.

i like rick's shot of black cats in the sunlit stairway also. surf4ever, your wife must be a pro! great shots.
oh and smackdaddy, remember when you told me about putting one of these on my dog? 
so i could see where she was during night walks on the beach?
well, i actually had one so i used it the next night. it has a red light also, which is what i turned on, then put it around her neck. It was a great laugh! not only because the bouncing red light was funny looking, but because i knew someone was bound to be seeing a strange red light, zipping around about two feet above the dark beach. 
it was needed for Holly, the second photo. She's always getting into trouble. Beth is the loyal one (first photo) and part kangaroo, ha! Actually, both are coyote mix. Beth is lab/coyote, holly is shepherd/coyote. Full names are Bloody Teeth and Holey Neck...Beth and Holly.

We use the white lights because you can't see the red lights when they are turned away from you. Besides I like it when he runs at people and it looks like a mini freight train coming at them.

I can totally relate to this. My lab can't run anymore, he just kinda trots. He'll chase a ball or try and play with other dogs but I don't really let him anymore. It makes his hips/legs go into spasms and he's sore for days. They get old so fast...seems like he was brought home just a few years ago...

Sparky the grouchy wienerdog from hell, at least 16 years old, usually does a face plant when stepping off the sidewalk into the yard. Partially blind, mostly deaf, bad teeth ... but you do not f**k with his food bowl

He was poached, wild, from Brazil with a mate and put in outdoor hutch in Santa Cruz for breeding. A raccoon got in, killed his mate, ripped one of his legs clean out and bit the other one in half. He was brought in the veterinary clinic that my wife worked in at the time, to be put down.
That was 14 years ago and he's still going strong. Crazy bird.
Here's the last pet, Megan, with her kittens (none of which made it).

My dog doing what he does best:
He also likes to drag around my laundry basket, but in the end - his passion for life ends up taking over once again:
 Only thing that gets him moving is his ball. Then he tries to fall asleep on it only to wake up when his fat ass can't balance on it.
Taking him for a walk without bribing him with treats is IMPOSSIBLE.
