NICE!! I love his casual style..then 'rips the bag' out of those sections. He covered some real distance on a few of those waves.

Morgan--What do you think about the 7D? How does it compare to the 5D, and do you prefer it to a regular prosumer HD camcorder?

couple questions..
Do you use a viewfinder? like the Zacuto
was this shot at 24p?
Do you like using the 24p setting most? Or the 60fps
Do you ever use the 1080p30 setting?

My friend recently got one, and we havent really messed around with it too much yet

Awesome vid, awesome surfing, and the music is 290562534 times better than most surf vids. Also that wave is so world class and people air travel for waves like that. If it weren't for the hoardes....

Thanks for sharing. I just got the 7D and I was wondering what lens/focal length you use to film surfing with it as I'm about to buy a longish zoom for filming surfing? The 7D is sooooo amazing for the price.
