I sauteed an entire bulb of sliced garlic (about 1/2 cup) and dumped in a can of imported San Marzano tomatoes with red chili flakes and ate it for lunch. pffft pfffffft ppppfffffffffffffffffft!

/2 cup bottled jerk sauce or Caribbean Jerk Seasoning, recipe follows
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons peeled and finely chopped fresh ginger
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 large onion, cut into chunks
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/4-inch square chunks
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
Caribbean Jerk Seasoning:
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried, crushed Scotch bonnet pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Vegetable oil.
Breadstix and a salad.A decent chardonayy'z and lot'z of ice cream for dessert.

Well done. 
I sweated my ass off shooting hoops for a few hours in the heat today. Got that touch going but sh*t, that little snack, hell first meal of the day, I just had didn't come to close to satisfaction. My fridge and freezer are bare but I don't feel like shopping. Since I won't degrade myself by eating butter out of the tub as a tide-me-over, might have to go out and grab some real food somewhere.

If you're willing to do the dry bin stuff (beans/rice/quinoa/lentils etc) as long as you have plenty of Tapatio, your food bill for the month can be stupid cheap. Make a big ol pot that lasts a few days and you're set. I go that route when I need to save some $$ to buy something pricey.

Mixed that with a combo of Tapatio, Worcestershire sauce, and Teriyaki sauce. Surprisingly good.
Between that and the occasional $2.77/lb for Sirloin Steaks at the market, f*cking A I live cheap. Got to for now until I am gainfully employed again. But things may be looking up.

Yep! My ex-gf's nickname was Koko so had to grab a few 6-packs of that while I was in Hawaii with her. Super good beer and would love to get some more of it.
Can't recall if I have seen it over here... if not, it will be just like previous Smokey and The Bandit homages where I bootlegged a bunch of Black Butte Porter to SoCal from Tahoe (which used to be the furthest south I could find anything from Deschutes Brewery) several years back.
I think there needs to be a Smokey and the Bandit on a boat movie. Bootlegging beer from Hawaii on a speed mission; damn the trades, full speed ahead. I can star as the Bandit with Sofia Vergara as the mistress on the run.

My friend's dad got it somewhere in San Clemente, so it is here in SoCal.
I was stocked that you could get all of the Lagunitas varieties at my local BevMo. I was going to have to do some Bandit runs mysef for that
