I picked up a couple of custom boards from Wayne at Oak Foils last week. Now that I finally have time to post some photos, here it is. This one is his Snub Bonzer 5. Maybe Wayne will chime in later and elaborate more about the shape of this board.
It is 6' with glass-on bamboo runners with a bamboo/kiri bonzer center fin from Marlin at 101 fins. I decided to go with 6oz glass, volan glass on the bottom. Resin tint with a black marble swirl, gloss and polish finish with double pinlines. This board came out looking absolutely amazing, but I wouldn't expect no less from Oak Foils.
I took this board out for a test drive last week. It rides even better than it looks!

very interesting bottom contours.
i picked up one of those bamboo center fins at AB3 and was blown away at the weight.
curious about the glass on center though. i assume you're only going to ride that board up until a certaiin wave height, and then move up in size.
i pushed my old 6'6 bonzer egg into some 10-12' faces a couple years back, and pushed the fin back and it made a world of difference (for the better).

You're more than welcome to give the board a go. My schedule is pretty hectic, so I'm only able to get out 1-2 days a week in the mornings before work. As summer approaches, I plan on going out more frequently after work.

I plan on surfing this board up to OH, anything bigger, I'll take out my performance quad, thruster, or POD-shape.
I've only surfed it once since I got it and it was waist to shoulder high. It definitely rides different compared to your standard board. This board feels like it needs some bigger waves or waves with lots of juice to push it to its capabilities. I plan on riding it regularly year-round (even small summer days).
If you guys ever see me out in the lineup and you want to give any of my boards a test drive, you're more than welcome to. Just make sure the board you let me ride is not a longboard, or a beat up junker.
