fixed for you!
saw heavyfooted killing it on his 5'6". think front and backside fin blows and carving 360's in waist high mush. hopefully my mega mind fills the same bandwidth.

Would the bottom feeder surf similar to a sweet potato or trunk board. Biolos is coming and I'm trying to decide if I should order a fish replacement or a sub-scorcher/sd2 type of all around shorty...

Sick stick! I heard the plank goes really well too. Heavyfooted- have you had a chance to surf a plank? If so, how would you compare?

Do you guys ride your bottom feeders Thruster or Quad (+nub)? In which conditions? Mason Ho seems to like it as a thruster.

Looks fun.
Sounds like you like the Power Base fins as well. Is this the first time you've ridden them? Which templates? DXL DS? Ceramics? You running them in FCS fusions? I saw a warning on their site re the PB fins damaging the boards if you don't use their box.

I like them in the two BF's I have for whatever reason... Tried DXL Ceramic for one session in a thruster and they were ok but need more time on that board. Front are DXL in firm plastic, rear DS in the softer flex ceramic (what I had laying around), fusion boxes. I try not to crank down on the screw.. they can definitely dent the glass cap at leading/trailing edges of fcs.

Don't like the bulbous nose on the Plank personally, haven't ridden one for that reason.... but Matt B. loves them.

Very good point, I cinched 'em down and have a nice triangle tattoo fore and aft of my fusion plugs. Just cosmetic but that's a solid observation.

Left you a vm, Skip.
Felt a few up this morning. Anyone else have any detailed feedback or ride reports on them? True tiny-wave performer? How do they compare to the Plank/Uber/Motivator in really, really small waves?

plank is better is uber small surf.
for what ever reason, i still don't know, you have to be super far forward to catch waves on this board. once I figured that out it went better. does well in small stuff. for me, an east coast guy, it is not amazing in the small stuff. likes mush better than small. if it gets steep it flies.

Picked up this bad boy today. 5'8" x 22 1/4" x 2 3/4" with a nice rail and pretty foiled out nose and tail. Feels money underarm. Eps/epoxy. Many thanks to both Heavyfooted and Mayhem/Matt for dialing in a modified custom for this stoked kook.

Things's waxed up and ready to go after curing a couple extra days. Will most definitely post up my thoughts after a few surfs. I think it's going to be pretty money for tiny surf just from the looks/feel of it...at least I hope so. Starting with Scarfini quads, then either Stilettos with nubster or big twins+trailer next. Can see each of those setups working well.

1st session today in clean, mostly softish thigh-chest high surf with a couple a little bigger. Good time! Picks up waves (obviously) with very minimal effort and feels comfortable right off the bat. Fairly skatey frontside and went easily in burgery waves. Was able to throw it up into the lip very easily and it felt stable and good under my feet. Much easier to surf backside than the Ghostbuster for me, which is what I'd hoped for. Had a couple fun rights that I was able to lay into a couple hard backside turns and it felt really good and easy to go rail to rail. Definitely not as fast as the GB but just feels easy to surf and I think will be a really good board after just one session. Size feels spot on for what I wanted and my feet feel like they're in the right spot without having to adjust. Will update after a few more surfs.
