I must say: it was a fantastic day. I met so many people: all stoked !!! From Pavel to the smallest amateur fromthe UK. There were about a 100 boards. Some were real beauties. Top class and quality boards from Pavel, Mandala, Christenson... I should say "of course" but defenitly no "of course" possible. They really make beauties and are far far far away from any other boards makers i've met.
Well... Everything is still confused in my brain. I saw so many thing, lerant so much.
The crew from lokbox did a perfect job helped by the local gulfstream crew. Amazing time.
I'll update with a big bunch of pictures as soon as possible...
By the way, UK really is THE PLACE:

Surfing: 2-4 p.m. Between the nicely set up board racks, and the specific itinerary, this type-A personality is thinking you guys are way too organized. That's awesome!
Great photos: Keep them coming!

There's a killer pastie shop in that furthest block of stores overlooking the gardens in the pic of Woolacombe that sells all kinds of variations on the traditional Cornish pastie

That would be him. Here's a bridge built in the 1300's.

Looking up stream at some boats that will be well afloat once the 27 foot high tide comes in.

Fish fish and more fish...

Marlin made a good showing with his cool bamboo fins.

Ian Zamora on his first trip out of the country since he was a little kid. Also first attempt at driving on the left side of the road with the steering wheel on the right. He was hugging the white line on the left side all the way across the country.

Little did they know their board bags were about to fly off the roof.

Power assist board by Bert at Fluid Juice surfboards. This turbine set-up is designed to give 3 second bursts to get you into waves. It won the most futuristic design catorgory.
