No, I don't know the dimensions on this board and I didn't take the pictures. I'll see if I can get the time to take the board home, dress it in something sexy and put it on my couch. I know how you all just LOVE my couch photos...

That looks just about perfect. Can't wait to feel one up at Sacred Craft next weekend.

Just waiting on the call to pick up a new 5'7" one of these. Went in with an entirely different idea, but Roberts saw my DD, and recommended this. Damn, he's so easy to work with. He recommended fins, thickness, length, etc... not just like usual, but for like an hour. He is really into getting you the right board.

Ha ha ha, I noticed that. I am 5'7". That pic was taken when I was holding the tail out, and the guy shot it pointing up. I am as tall as the board. No dwarf touches with me, you goons!

Got my DF yesterday and we were blessed with a shoulder to head high swell today!I got this for the the summer doldrums here in NJ but I was stoked to see how well it worked in a decent swell with some push.My initial feeling was I should have paddled out with something else BD ect.All I can say is this was like riding a skateboard in a perfect pool .The board paddled about the same as my WD but got me in a little earlier and made sections that I shouldnt have. The DF is like set it and forget it!Handles drops with ease and snaps like a shortboard not like a fish in my opinion.Very fast and lose but not out of control with T1 twin and trailer set up,I have not tried it as a quad yet.To sum it up if you are on the fence about getting one give it a go! In my opinion its even more fun than the WD,its an East Coast wrecking machine!Cant wait for someone with real skills to review it!No Im not drinking the Koolaid its more like sipping aged rum. Another sick one from Robert and crew!

an initial review on the white diamond thread http://forum.surfermag.com/forum/showfla...art=47&vc=1
follow up: i originally gave it a go with various quad set ups and since have switch up to the mr tfx twin/trailer set. i can't tell you how much fun this thing is. i thought the board turned amazing before, it's even better! i guess coming off from mainly riding thrusters, the two larger side fins give me proper drive and surprisingly good hold in larger surf. that smaller center keeps a thruster feel letting you pivot more off the middle of the board.
as for anyone who even remotely likes the white diamond, you need to get this under your feet at least once. likely, that's all you'll need to see what i'm talking about. it's pretty much replaced any of my small-medium wave thusters mainly because it really does ride... a whole lot... like a thruster on a slightly different outline. when i say slight, i mean slight. sizing off a white diamond... only an inch shorter 1/4 inch wider and same thickness.
as for it's actual small wave prowess, i've had two sessions in absolute gutless surf since the last review.i'll only talk about the first since for sake of losing the one person that i haven't already lost. session was at c-street, ventura. surf was so blown out and barely ridable that it was me and maybe 5 orther longboarders. i probably had 30-40 minutes out and picked off a good 6 waves. which was on par with the next highest wave count. like i said, it paddles really well. as smaller weaker waves go, you really have to anticipate where this wave is going to actually break and give a good paddle to match its speed to get into it. so, it's paddle-friendliness came in extra handy.
surfing, i had 3 waves that kept open enough for a good 5-6 maneuvers. cutbacks included. way better than i normally surf. i'd like to say it was all me but i'm sure the df got me through flat sections that would have kept me stalled in my tracks. it's turns were money just like before, wraps around nice and smooth. it'll hold up to about head high before you start to feel like silver surfer. still fun and can't complain. if anyone's interested and up to it, you're more than welcome to give my 5'1 a go. if not, find someone with one! try it! feel free to pm with any questions.

Sweet looking little ride. It looks like the fin cluster is set back a bit from a standard quad, yeah? Where are the front fins set? I have just purchased some of those MR fins and would love to give em a go in something just like that! Single concave all the way through on that one??
Thanks. Good review by the way.

My board is single in to double, sort of spiral vee out the tail. Imagine tiny bonzerish double concave. Very well blended and amazing feel. Wish I could ride it right now. I have heard the MR template twin fins with a trailer is insane, too. Gotta try that, especially since I have been turned on the the Gibbons Reflex. WDF as a thruster could be tons o' fun.

I don't believe the fins are in production yet. He has prototypes of the finished version, but they aren't widely available yet.
Wait is around six weeks, depending upon what you want.
For all the guys that are still waiting on me to do volume numbers, I haven't forgotten. I'll get to it, I swear...
