The spork is a combination of a spoon and fork. It is best combination if you don't know what utensil to use while out at a fancy restaurant. All the restaurants offer a spork. For example KFC offers it and you know the colonel knows what works best when scooping mash potatoes or stabbing Cole slaw. Hell he figured out how to make great tasting chicken by only using 13 herbs and spices. I say get the spork! [list]

I've only had two sessions on my 6'1 Spork, one; as a quad in knee-waist S. Bay last week and this past Sunday, as a tri in Huntington (N.Side) textured waist-chest and mushy. I bonded with it a little better as a tri, but I've been riding a 5'8 Hayden Psychedelic Germ for the past four months as a tri, so maybe that is why I preferred the Spork as a tri. I haven't had it in good enough waves (or for long enough) to give it an accurate review, but I am going to Nicaragua (Mark and Dave's) on 8/6 and I'm confident enough in the Spork to have it fill the space of a standard shortboard and a small step-up. A few boards that will be missing the trip are: Simon Anderson 6'6 SXE2, Channel Islands 5'10 Whip, Channel Islands 6'1 Proton. I'm not suggesting that the Spork, feels like the CI's, but in my two short sessions on the Spork, I know I can catch waves easier than my standard shotboards and I can still get as progressive as I want without a "fishy feel" where there seems to be some lag-time when getting some of those designs straight-up.
