While I have to agree in that the tour needs way more personalities, I think Bobby is pretty stupid when it comes to business decisions. By disqualifying himself from the contest, he just lost some valuable air time for his sponsor FTW. If he could have kept going through the competition, he undoubtedly would have gotten more interviews, more air time, more mentioning of FTW.

he's 100% correct about the goofy asp tour format. these guys qualified for the tour/clownshow last year, and now some of them are gonna get bumped half way through the year, for a new bunch of tadpoles that are competing in the minor league contests?
asp surfers were dumbfvcks for voting this in. martinez is right... 
not that i give a sh1t about pro surfing or gay beach fashion...
 and i had him on my fs team... fvck fvck fvck!!! 8 of 8 into round 3 too. this is all todd kline's and diro's fault - fvkin' floridian fascists!
