This is Malibu Margarita. Born on Cinco de Mayo 2008 - she's 1/2
Siamese twin. Clear, blue eyes - behaves like a dog. Not a rescue.
Mom was a pure breed Siamese that got knocked up by a Tomcat so
Margarita arrived at 6 wks old for my daughter's birthday.
I don't like animals - totally not a cat person because I'm severely
allergic. However I'm not allergic to Margarita. We love her.

I just checked the choke chain he is wearing and it looks like I may have to cut it off with bolt cutters.

He looks like mastiff/pit to me. He was ten weeks old and the couple that had him had a couple of toddlers and a bunch of cats. This was their first dog. He was a terror. Out of control and then some. They wanted out bad. I couldn't leave him there. Cat people in a trailer park in Simi? My god. Beyond cruel. Anyway, they had named him Steve. I nixed that and dubbed him the overly macho "Thor." I mean, who the hell names a dog Steve? (nothing wrong with Steve you understand,  but for a dog?!?!?)
Anyway, whenever he seems to get goofy (frequently) or displays less than courageous behavior, he gets called Steve.

That IS ridiculous.. I mean, at least we had the decency to name our frequently goofy and less than courageous dog Fred.

Here's Chiizu - our Shiba Inu.
Telling a dog that he's not really into her.
Playing with another Shiba Inu (who is like half his size)
Wondering if he should destroy his football before or after we look away.
Hiding in a box as a puppy.
Biting my face off when he was a puppy
With his favorite toy (for the 5 seconds the soccer ball lasts)

I'm pretty sure its Hokkaido (which is a rare breed from Japan very much like the Shiba Inu), but its officially registered as a Shiba - so that's what he is 
Chiizu loves balls. More than anything in the world. Problem is, he doesn't like to "play" with them (or any other toy) as much as he likes to "destroy" them.

some awesome pets in here.
Here is Junior, he passed away last thanksgiving. quick story about getting him:
me and my dad had adopted a black lab after his dog from college (an awesome siberian husky that acted as if she was my mother when i was a baby) had passed away. well the black lab didnt do well with us and attacked my mom after the first couple days of having her, tore up her finger pretty good. we had to take her back and sadly when a dog attacks a person, they are usually put down. well a week later me and my dad so bummed about what happened with the last dog went into the rescue shelter and said give us the next dog your putting down no madder what we dont care. they bring us to this shaking, almost hairless and really sick with heartworm sheppard mutt. they asked if we were sure adn that they werent sure if he would last much longer, and we said yes. we brought him home that day and my mom and sister were freakin out and saying to bring him back. we couldnt do it. we got his health back up and he lived to be about 18 years old when he died of old age. he was everyones favorite dog and i still miss him alot. though i am very proud we gave a dog who almost died a long and great life.
we recently rescued this guy, boomer. dunno how big hes gonna get hes 6 months and still pretty small. real easy puppy to take care of and hes got alot of personality.
we found a little white dog on the side of the road a few years ago that we took in. sadly not my favorite animal since he gave junior a hard time and doesnt stop barking. guy wears a diaper. no pics of him
