This is the only one I know of with all airlines
http://www.tiket2.com/english
Lion Air is generally the best for price and still regarded as safe, Garuda is generally the best airline in Indo and normally most expensive.
Ticket prices in Indo, are the weirdest thing there seems to be no reason/pattern to when cheap or expensive like weekends or weekdays or booking early or late, ive even got cheap tickets when there is holliday season in indo.
Big tip though, try to get morning flights they normally depart on time, but by the afternoon its rare to get a flight on time, especially out of Jakarta, normally an hour or few late (all flights from Bali to Sumatra go via Jakarta, need to swap flights)

Rp 2,000,000 return to Padang from Bali for all flights would be a fairly good price (roughly US $220)
Between Bali to Jakarta if you can get for around Rp400,000 that's good price.
Between Jakarta to Padang around RP 450,000 to RP 500,000 is good price
Sometimes you can get both flights a bit cheaper, RP 100,000 or so cheaper, but often the only flights available are double those prices or more.
Check out prices/flights direct on lion air site might be easier http://www2.lionair.co.id/Default.aspx

They do Bali-Jakarta but not Jakarta-Padang from Padang only Padang-KL
There an ok airline, but there price system sucks often looks real cheap, then you go through the booking process and there is fee's for everything things you cant avoid.

Use Singapore. I got a one way flight from Singapore to Bali using 10,000 miles on United. If you have those miles, could be a huge savings and Singapore is just so nice. You have to call United to reserve.

+1 on the comments about prices in Indo for flights. i booked a short notice round trip flight (same week) from Bali to Padang and it was only around $200. i was like = DEAL and a HALF (on such short notices, are you kidding me!?!?).
keep in mind that there are large travel companies that are in and just out of Kuta (main highway) that can book those flights for you. this is the route that i took.

Yeah ive done possibly almost 50 separate flights within Indo and i still haven't worked it out any real pattern.
Sometimes I book months, weeks or days ahead, but often i just turn up at the airport and shop around at each airline counter for best price, sometimes super cheap sometimes ever airline is real expensive.
I do have one other tip never travel during month of Ramadan, Muslim celebrations thats when flight are expensive and everything else, hotels even food, when it is changes every year.

BTW, Singapore is real nice for a city but i dont think any airlines do Singapore-Padang anymore Tiger air did years ago, you can take a ferry from singapore to batam(about half an hour) and one or two airlines did do flights from batam to Padang, but not sure if still do.
You could do the ferry and bus thing from singapore to padang, i did it once an experience but a real mission took a few days.

+1 on the AirAsia. The hosties are cute as (make sure you get an aisle seat) but you get reamed evry which way but loose.

Ive never come across an airline in Indo that charges extra for boards, but if you go over your baggage weight allowance then you may have to pay extra.
Note, I only ever travel with two to three boards max.
Ive seen other guys get hassled to pay extra at baggage check in at Nias for coffins with heaps of boards.
