Your stuff will sell faster with photos.
Go to the free photo hosting page: http://forum.surfermag.com/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/501/password/
Click "upload photos" and follow the instructions.
Once your photo is uploaded right click on it, a box will open with options. Click on "copy image location" or find the http address assigned to your photo (click "properties" and highlight the http address).
Mac users can use a right click mouse, that is what I use.
Return to this forum and click "post"
Type in your subject, for example "my rad stick for sale bro bos"
Under the post box is the instant UBB code options. Click image.
A new box opens, right click in this box and click "paste"
The http address to your photo should appear.
Click continue. The page should reload and you should see your post with your photo.

Also, it's a good idea to add your location in your post.

How can I make the photos larger when they appear? This never used to be an issue for me...anyone?

You have to resize them before saving them. Then upload to photobucket I think.

Taken from Craiglist:
Please read this before you post an ad for a surfboard.
Some tips for posting your surfboard on Craigslist/erBB:
1. Be sure to put "Surfboard" in your title. If you just put the brand and/or model often times it won't get picked up by general surfboard title searches. 2. Always include full dimensions including length, width and thickness of your board. If available also include the volume. 3. Always include the fin system and if fins are included please specify the type. 4. Be as descriptive as you can about the presence of dings, repaired dings and pressures. 5. A "custom" board typically devalues a board as it obviously isn't "custom" for the person you are trying to sell it to. Good to mention it isn't a stock board but understand you won't get a premium for a custom shape. 6. Graphics usually also devalue the board. I know it seems counter intuitive but really since beauty is in the eye of the beholder you need to keep in mind that you won't get a premium for your board graphics. Board graphics typically go negative if they aren't factory applied. 7. Please remove the dirty wax from your board. When you do it comes across in pictures so much better and people can see the deck pressures better when checking the board out. 8. Rasta colored tail pads automatically deduct $50 to $75 from the purchase of your board. Not everyone smokes pot. And even the ones that do don't necessarily need to work it into their board accessories. 9. Don't list your offer as "firm" when you keep dropping it by $10 each week. We can still see your older posts and it starts to sound silly after a while. 10. Don't bother listing that old yellow beater with multiple dings. No one wants it at any price you list. Instead recycle it (rerip.org) or donate it do your local youth organization or favorite charity who can put it to better use.
11. If there's a chick in a bikini holding the board in your photos - makes sure she's home, wearing it, and sells me the board personally - don't want to be greeted by your ugly mug.(don't ever pose with your board! that's just messed up) 12. Please, for the love of God, never ever say "I'm selling my board, cause I need to thin out my quiver" You my friend are a goon!- that's right, enough of that. 13. If your ad says your selling because "my wifes making me" we'll you are a pu$$, your boards probably pink, and no man wants a girly mans hand me down - grow a pair 14. If your board has "clark foam" SO WHAT! It's not a priceless piece of history - IT'S OLD! Foam is foam! Except yours is yellow and waterlogged! 15. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones holding a Skip Frye, STOP posting every single old one for ridiculous amounts of cash, really? you're not embarrassed that your trying to re-sell a board and make more than the guy who created it. Share the love and let someone who actually surfs ride it. (Much respect to the guy- yes I remember you- who posted his "nice clean" Skip for $350 and said - "Not selling to someone who's going to re-sell this or hang it on a wall, I've enjoyed this board and now want someone else to" -- that was cool) 16. That giant bubble on the deck of your board, yeah from when you left out it in the sun all summer, that's called "delamination" and effectively renders your board as WORTHLESS! Stop writing "it doesn't affect performance" in your ad. You wouldn't know cause you've never actually caught a wave! And if you had, your board would have either buckled or snapped - Recycle or donate it to a kid 17. Wavestorm surfboards are $100 new, stop posting them for $150 used - just give it to a kid 18. If your board is under 6' long - no matter how wide and thick your board is, it does NOT paddle like a longboard! Enough! Unless of course you suffer from " MANOREXIA", then you should put your weight in the ad for reference. 19. If you are selling your brand new Degree 33, Isle, Sup atx etc! - stop posting ads like a private party with embedded links to your company sites, you may personally own the boards in your shop, but you are a DEALER. 20. Every board with and upside down "V" cut in the tail IS NOT A FISH! 50% of the ads listing a fish surfboard are "SWALLOWTAILS" learn the difference. 21. If you're to lazy to post a photo, or you put "email for pics and dimensions" stop posting - it's a waste of time opening your ad. I sure as heck am not going to waste any more time contacting you to hear about your log.
