I'm heading to Peru later this Summer, expecting to surf head to double overhead Chicama/Pacasmayo. I have a 6'0 lost driver that I love, but am interested in another ...lost for some of the bigger days. It's not a crushing barrel, but is more of a sloping pointbreak wave that gets size. Any advice? Thanks.

I'd get an SD2 or Scorcher, or another driver if you're that fond of it, with a rounded pin, same width as the current driver or 1/4" narrower, 2" longer.
I usually use my driver starting at waist high, and like the drive and turn radius, but feel it really hits its stride at head high. Looking at all the designs today, I also saw the scorch-it model. Looked fun, with the channel bottom. Problem with a whiplash is I don't know how much I'd get to use it at home. Is the mini driver any good either?

IMO, the sub-blaster would be super fun
lots of volume ( for the paddle and mush )
vee bottom for control
tri/quad for fun
Have you or do you own one? If yes, what do you think about it? This is one of MB's shape that appeal a lot to me (one of many), but I'm not too crazy about the full V bottom. I feel like I like the bottom and rocker of the Blunt abd Double-Blunt better, but I like the outline and foil of this one better. And then there is the Rockup.... And the MiniDrive... and the V2.... Rhaaaa!!! ...Lost makes my life so much more complicated!!!!

The Scorch-It looks really great. I've seen one @ ET and I had a hard time putting it down. I don't get that nobody ever mention it at all.
That said I don't think it's a board meant for DOH.
RockUp. :fact One of my best friends just got back from the Mentawais and [verified in pics] was owning it on a 6'2" rockup and he is 5'10-5'11" also surfed it in Bali and sent it went insane their too. Im getting one for myself
I'd say go for a round pin driver in custom dims 1 - 3 inches longer than what you already have.
If you plan on surfing some really chunky waves with the board and want a more versatile travel board, then I'd say go longer or move over to the rock-up; that tail shape on them looks insane for bowly waves!
