The question was when will a "surface area" create lift. You may not have been in on any of the discussions. You can consult a definition of "lift" first, and remember that a "surface area" is a theoretical un-foiled, 2 dimensional plane the thickness of say, a sheet of paper. So what do you need for such a thing to create "lift" which you have to know the definition of to answer.

More non-sense from juan. Surface are isn't theoretical... all objects have surface area.

Surface area always creates lift as long as the AoA isn't 0.

Whoops! In spite of your grumpiness, you answered the question... erm.... proving that you must be non-sense (sic) too.

Actually, I addressed the non-basis of your previous post, and then went about having my way with you.

Also, just because a noun ends in a vowel, it does not need an apostrophe + an S. Often, just the S will do. Occasionally, an E is necessary.

Actually, the AoA thing was totally in there, but you missed it, dimbulb.

Also, "your" is possessive, while "you're" is a contraction of "you" and "are." They are not the same word. I learned this in early elementary school. I only point these things out because... it's fun to.

Make up your mind. One minute it is "fun" the next it is tiring.... At least you have recognized that the choice is yours. That is a good step for a bleeding heart liberal.

Your personality is tiresome. Correcting your illiteracy is nominally enjoyable as a public service -- for the commonwealth, ya see.

Who'z you callin' a liberal, son?
