I really don't think he's going to finish the year, but Slate12 would be my guess.
He'll be at Chopes and he'll be at Trestles and obviously at Pipe. I wonder if he'll do the Euro/Steamer Lane piece of the tour.
I think he's much less hell bent on a title this year and looking to have fun. I don't know how fun competing at a beach break is for him at this point. We'll have to see.

shifting gears a second...Ke11y didnt even go to Brazil, yet is #2 in the World.
How would you feel if you were a top 10 CTer...and theres this guy who is on another level and you will never win a world titlee no matter what you do? A guy competing at 75% and is still kicking everyones arse? It must be weird in the top 10.

I think Slater missing Brazil is a big mind game. He wants the title ore than anyone, he just wants the rest of the tour to think he doesn't care.
If he needed an event to win the title he wouldn't skip out no matter what. It is a great strategy to mindfvck the rest of them.

They drop one event score no matter what. I can't think of one I'd rather skip than that brazzo infested barrio. PASS. 
I think it's pretty foolish to count him out. You forget what he did in beach breaks last year, New York? Sand Fran? France? Portugal? Top 5 results in all of them. I'd say he doesn't mind the beach breaks too much...
