That's south of me. I typically head north, but if I do decide to go south, that's one of the spots that I check.

Are you near Old Orchard Beach? I almost went there with my family over spring break in April. Might try to go again next year. Wondering about the potential of late spring/early summer surf around that area. I like that part of the country.

I'm still a little north of there, but you don't have to go very far north, to find a couple of nice beach breaks. I have surfed OOB, but you need a big swell to make it head high or bigger. When it's head high at OOB it's twice as big at some of the northern beaches. The times I have surf there, it usually dictated by wind. From north to south OOB makes a pretty sizable "C". If it's a whipping NE wind, the Pine Point end works well, and as you travel down the beach, it takes other wind directions.
