Everyone, meet Gidget...
This is nature related because this cat is a wild animal. I adopted her and her brother after my neighbors moved away and left them behind.
She's almost 15 years old and as spry as a kitten but she still scratches me all the time.

Pee Wee the Lovebird after riding the surf in the kitchen sink.
There's nothing neater than a bird having a bath in your cupped hands.......although it can get a bit dampish if they're enthusiastic.

for some reason this shot reminds me of a plane slowing down to land.....you know when your flying into an airport, and it feels like the plane slows down/sinks? you get that weight-less feeling?

That's a Buckeye butterfly nautica.. and an excellent photo of a perfect speciman!!
That was my favorite butterfly when I was a young boy but I haven't seen one in years. Thanks for posting it up!

Such killer pics...everyone! Awe, that butterfly is a friggin book cover. It's perfect. No way i can catch up on all the kudos for the photogs, so i'll just say it once. Sweeeeeeeeeet!
We've got some tropical weather hanging over us, so clouds and maybe some lightning is this week's goal. Not sure what to think of this yet, but i'll throw it in the mix. i think the red hue is coming from city lights...not sure, but i'm experimenting.

life is great, been in CA last couple weeks for biz. heading back to wonderland in the morning and i cannot wait... stoked. heres some birds and nature from there:
an owl i found hunting late afternoon

These are officially birds, despite their somewhat reptilian appearance. These are baby Parrotlets that we are feeding by hand. The coin is about 1" in diameter for scale.
