I got a new job today!!! I know, I know, i did nothing but complain about my old job, but this job is different.
I am now employed by REDDSURF Surfboard Repair. I start friday at 9 a.m. (he said that way i could go surf before going to work!) I know some of u guys go there (i think WYD mentioned he goes there) so i guess i might meet some of ya thru there.
He said im gonna start off by prepping boards, but he is gonna teach me how to complete boards from start to finish. This is weird...im actually excited to go to my first day of work.

$7/hour....about .25cents more per hour than i was making at albertsons. Pluss i get to use all teh equipment to do my own ding repairs for free.
And i get to wear one of those cool masks that the shapers wear

I went in and talked to him several times (which i think is part of the reason he hired me, he knew i wanted the job), and he was real busy so he told me to come back on like 3 diff occasions (wanted to wait til school was closer to getting out). The more i thought about it, i thought he was just stalling and wasnt gonna hire me. BUt this mornin i stopped in on my way to school from surf pe, and he said he would hire me i was SOOO stoked. I was like, WHOA! im getting a cool job. Im looking forward to 9am fri, although i am a lil nervous.

WYD- we gotta come up with some sorta code phrase so i know its u when u come to the shop, something like "Hey, thats a nice mask u have that the shapers wear!"

Don't worry Jake, I'll bust your balls! Richard has had my Pinlined fish in there twice already. I don't trust myself with the color-work on that beauty.
Hopefully, I won't have to drop any boards off for a while!
