WHY?!?
Never had it before and it's super annoying. I am surfing around noon and would appreciate any remedies you guys have tried.

well that's why im curious. i was barebacking it in warm water, never had the issue before. i surfed through it for a few hours and when i came home had some excellent rashes under the pits.

vaseline is good, but this works even better:
somebody on here recommended it, so i can't take the credit, helps heal while preventing the rash.

Shave your armpits. That's what I do in the Summer. It should pretty much eliminate the issue.

little suntan lotion did the trick, auurite!
we got the swell here but the winds are howlin'.. kinda chilly out there today

some lotions stin when aplied over skin that's already got a rash, vaseline works fine and it's cheap

Two causes of rash that I noticed,
one... not surfing as frequently, so your skin doesn't have a chance to toughen up.
Two... Putting on a few extra pounds. The new roll of fat under your arms rub and create irritations that were non-existent in skinnier days.
Usually the two causes happen simultaneously.
