New Bulkley Quad
      #1966499 - 01/20/11 10:13 AM

I picked it up last Sunday and am so stocked with how great it came out. I told Brian I was looking for a new small wave board, (Waist to head high), and after discussing various shapes he came up with this. A modified hipster quad. He dropped the length to 6'1", lowered the rocker and added a fuller nose. Also brought the wide point out and kept the thickness in the center. This board feels right in every way. I rode it three times this week in varying conditions and size and all I can say is "Holy Shite". It feels like a magic carpet under my feet. There's no fighting the board itself and it has more of a neutral feel to it. It's got a very smooth feeling of responsiveness. Snaps under the lip, drives down the line and carves smooth as buttah.

Many thanks to Brian.

Dims are: 6'1" x 20.5" x 2 11/16"

Just put a call out to Brian as well...

Love the hipster with the Lokbox x2's- had some of my best turns of my life on it. It has made me never want to ride a thruster again in waves under 8 foot.

Yeah the X2's are awesome. I just switched em for the lb1/lb4 setup so I can get a good comparison.

BTW people, get your orders in now. Turn around times incredibly short.

Nice!

Did you retire the 6'4 Hipster? How much wider is the nose?

A friend now has possession of the 6'4".

I believe the nose is a couple of inches wider on the new one.
