i had my wrist checked out and it is a sprain. the dr. said there's nothing that he can fix so i need to let it heal.
i've tried taping my wrist pre-surf but it still hurts like a when i pop up. if i keep doing things that hurt it am i slowing down the healing process and risking causing permanent damage?

if i do push ups on my fists, no pain. if i do them with hands in normal position, pain. can i continue to do push ups on my fists without causing damage or delaying healing?
to take it a step further - if i wore a glove on the hand of the injured wrist, could i pop up without causing damage or delaying healing?

Hard to say boss. Sorry. Try some inclined pushups to take a little pressure off until it heals.

I would wait 6 weeks from injury. If it is still bothering you, demand an MRI to look for a Triangular Fibrocartilage tear. The TFC is a complex in your wrist that is similar to the meniscus in your knee. Can heal on it's own, but sometimes requires arthroscopic surgery to smooth out the tear. Just my .02C
