To NYC area erBB'ers
      #2236111 - 01/31/12 01:46 PM

I got an invite to talk story about Ghost Wave - and will show an updated version of my film/photo presentation at the upper Broadway Patagonia store - which now includes some scary new photos and particularly hairball footage of Evan Slater and Johnny Walla's misadventure of 2001. Will be stoked if any of you yankees can make it. Thanks to at least some of you, the book just entered a second printing.

6:30PM, Monday, Feb 6.
Patagonia Broadway
2625 Broadway
NY, NY 10025

Congrats. Careful your presentation doesn't get subway'd.

Currently reading your book and really enjoying it, any plans to do something similar in Florida?

way to go OneWorldEd! super stocked for you. i love the 'pay-my-own-way' promotional strategy (crashing w/ friends, etc) approach! make it happen. can i buy the book on iTunes or iBooks?

Diro - it's on iTunes/Amazon/B&N.
And Subway - it was all for you.
Now I'm going to have to reevaluate my decision to travel north from the dirty south...

When you mentioned you wrote a book about Cortez Banks I was like, eh . . .

But then I saw the presentation at google, I was like, oh cool.

It reminded of what the guy did with "Born to Run," comming at the subject from all different perspectives.

It looks like a fun book to read.

Good luck in the big apple.

PS, I just ordered in Amazon.

My editor was the same guy who edited Warshaw's History of Surfing. A brilliant dude who, I think, was able to coax the best out of me. Hope you guys will agree. Here's the Surfline review - and I didn't pay Pruett or Collins for it either...
