Wayne I'm in sd and was wondering if u had any shops down here or in oc that have some boards to check out? Do u have a price list of some sorts?

Wayne doesn't do shops hombre! Pure customs made in America from start to finish. Even the blank is custom ordered for each client. After your board is made he'll scan it and keep it in his files for you so that if it's a magic carpet, or if you want to tweak it, it'll be no problem. Who else does that? You can't doubt somebody that committed to get you stoked. And the man has worked for Al Merrick and with Russ Hoyte @ CI for some 25 years before working only on his own label.
Dude, I know it's tough, but sometimes you just gotta take a leap of faith. So go for it. You won't regret it.
I'm about the pull the trigger on another one for myself.

The conversation went 'Can you take the front end of one magic board (The Qwad) and put on the back end of my other magic board (DynaGlyde)and then mix up in your magical cauldron a board that will handle chest to OH+"
And the blend was born!
I'm really jonesing for a twinzer qwad though now....

I too can attest to the Blend. It's a great all around shape, but definitely excels when it gets bigger.
FruitBison - Wayne is currently making me a Qwad twinzer with nubster that you are welcome to try. It should be posted on his blog this week. Give me a holler if you would like to try it.

Makes me wish I lived closer, I'd be in his shop all the time... Although my would probably not like the number of boards I'd come home with... I already don't have enough, what is the rocker on the blend like the dg or quawd

Alex, My personal working experience with CI was an outside contractor with CI. I was the only shaper that did virtually all the shaping procedures, meaning I did all the CAD, CAM, CNC, work and also finished shaped the boards that were contracted to me. I met Russell at CI for a few years towards the end of Al's retirement and the beginning of Burtons purchase. Russel was the go to guy for getting the shaping details and insights of the shapes. I just heard a few weeks ago that Russell is back working for CI again as a sub.

That shape is a variation of The Blend but the proportion have been modified for the XXL sized shapes. Basic formulation to the Blend but the volume is pumped up for the big guys. The rails are more parallel and less fullness and curve than the smaller Blends.
Nate, It would work great as a Twinzer with a nubster, if you like the twinzer "Hull No" it will have more up and down release and quicker snap off the top in comparo to the Hull No. For flat out entry speed and drive it's hard to beat the Hull No!
