Liked this in the parking lot.

After she wanted to stop at her office to pick up a small wine shipment . :-)

Board looks great! Is a "felix" a cross between your 4-5 fin fish and a modfish? Love the outline on that.

The Felix is a tail shape as well as a modified Modern Fish template.
The wide point has been moved back to center from the mod fish 1 1/2" forward.
The nose width has been widened slightly to get the same desired entry angle into the wide point.
The tips at the tail have been narrowed 1 3/8" increasing the curve moving away from the fish type tail.
With a swallow tail it becomes my Modern Fish 2
Recent examples .

Felix update: Tomorrow morning will be my last surf in Hawaii before I box the board up and ship it home. After three weeks of two sessions a day and getting tossed in and out of the rental car the board still looks new. Not a single dent in the bottom, and only slight denting on the deck (Im pretty heavy footed, and am usually tough on decks). Not sure how Greg's PU boards wear, but this Greenroom epoxy is really tough. I've had the opportunity to surf a lot of spots this trip, and the Felix has proven to be really versatile. It's hard to describe, but it is really stable, and predictable, and still hp. As I've gotten older I've become less consistent, but so far I haven't had a bad session on this board. I feel I'm consistently surfing better than I have in a long time, and I've had several friends here tell me I'm surfing better now than during my last visit a couple of years ago. Not what I expect to hear at 47, and that right there probably earned Greg a customer for as long as he continues to make boards.

Mike's latest review :
Knee to waist slop here in Texas today. I would normally have ridden a longboard, or skipped it altogether, but I had to try out the Felix. I'm beyond stoked! Easily pulling full roundhouse cutbacks, and even got the fins out a couple of times. This thing makes speed so easily it's nuts. You nailed the dimensions and volume on this one. Thanks again. Mike
Mike will never need to ask what fins he should use .

that might very well be the best review yet. I can relate!
