ok, 5:15 pm ands I think its time to post it up. 1st of all - thanks PPK - what a dad you must be!
Now my day:
*130 am - wife woke me up for some late night action
* 3 hour surf with a fellow dad buddy 7 10 am
* 1030 am - 11:15 am - fosters oil can
*11:30 am 12:00 pm - lunch with my 3 girls and their mama
*13:45 pm - 4 pm - swim at YMCA with my 4 special ladies
*4:30 pm - now - bbq steaks and crab legs while imbibing 3 stone ruination
* about 5:30 - 6:15 -dinner and a couple more brews
* after that - Good night - What a great fvcking day!!!!!!!

My family was spread out today, but still a good one.
--19 year old daughter is in eastern Oregon completing a 6-week paid gig doing biological field research with a couple of other female college students and their professor. [Wait, that could be taken the wrong way.]
--My wife is in Phoenix for a job-related thing. Home soon.
--So my 16-year old daughter and I went to the venerable "Shake Shack" overlooking Crystal Cove for a late breakfast while watching a few dolphins jump and tons of pelicans flying north for the Summer.
--Wife is almost home and we'll grill up gourmet sausage sandwiches with all the peppers-n-onions trimmings. A good day.

Wifey just came home from our Dad's (father-in-law) grave, he passed away last November, and was a trooper... retired Los Padres firefighter and a train nut, his garage is still a GIANT train set, but anyways, she picked some flowers from the garden and went and visited him at the Goleta Cemetary along with my brother-in-law and mom.
As Karen was leaving the house this AM I told her that I wanted her to bring something else along - A NAB (non-alcoholic beer) which we've had in the refridge for 2 years and Denny's favorite, everyone present was touched. They left it there along with the many flowers.
RIP Dennis Herbert Ensign, my wife's father (and in many ways, my father) and loved by all.

Photo reminds me of that 30 year term life insurance policy I sold myself for $250,000 right after my middle daughter was born and a second one after my youngest came along. I'm no hellman for sure but it's been nice to know that know that no matter what happens to me there would always be a happy fathers day for them.

On Friday in HB Lulu WON the Surfing America USA Championships 18U Longboard title!
Finally a National Title... she has been runner up a couple times.
