Of all the boards you surf. If there could be only one. What would you want? Not talking about an all arounder. What has favorite board of all time? Mine to this point has been my Coil 6' Wide wider board.

The Coil crew stepping up!
Mine is my 6'3" FBF Twinzer with Halcyon fins, for me how I surf and the waves I surf, the board is bad ass
Oh you mean the one I let go, my 6'0" Forstall Twin is one I used to miss, but the Coil has made me forget about that mistake, I don't know WTF I was thinking at the time

I had an Anderson single fin and a Cooperfish Comet that I wish I'd never gotten rid of. But law school made them a luxury that I couldn't afford. All summer long I wish that I had them back.

5'10" Griifin Felix 5-fin. I've only had it a month, but I've already gotten so many good waves on it.

My 5'10 Roberts Dill has been kicking for awhile and to be honest is all I really need. Good board in anything from small waves to 8ft wedges. I had a 5'10 JC Hawaii SD3 I was pretty crazy for that buckled, fixed, then finally snapped. My 5'10 Rawson that is long gone has been the basis for my shortboards for the last few now, miss that board.

6'1" 19 1/4 2 3/8 thruster
Assuming retodd's blur is the one I rode awhile back, it's pretty similar to that.

Before all the Rockets and Stubs became the rage I had a 6'6 x 19x 2.5 thumb tail quad stock board from local shaper Tommy Bunger that worked in anything from 3 ft mush to hurricane Bill which was biggest trop swell up here in NY in some time . She Delammed and was repaired and eventually had more Cabosil than foam . That was a great off the rack board

These are too big for me now, but I would love to have a version of each one again in SoCal dims
This was a Bob Miller quad fish in gigantic dims (I had been riding nothing but noseriders for a year and a half)- 6-0 x 21 x 3. Nowadays I would get the same board 5-6 x 20 x 2.5

This one has been around the erBB for a while and has been Twinzerized. I only got rid of it to be able to trade up to a Coil, but I'd love to have another Album Modtwin. Maybe Matt would do a Modtwinzer?
This was 6-2 x 20.75 x 2 5/8, I'd do 5-11 x 19.75 x 2.5 today

The Oakfoils 'Blend' I have is probably the best board I have. It will overlap more into the quad fish territory more than the quad fish will overlap into the Blend territory.

the 5'8 coil fbf moontail... believe it was 5'8 x 19 x 2-3/16. should have kept and hired JJR to remove the glassed on fins and install fusion boxes. had the widest range of any board i've owned or still own. just needed to work out fin configurations. blah
don't ever get rid of a feel good board just because of fins.
if anyone has a similar coil lemme know.

5'8 x 17 3/4 x 2 Al Merrick MX.
Sold because I outgrew it.
Have yet to ride a HPSB that works as well on the good days.
Been thinking about shaping one with the same length/width/outline (which I thankfully have a template of), but at 2 1/4 thick so that it floats me.

A few years back I wanted to kind of reinvent myself. The boards I had just didn't suit my style of surfing anymore. So I got rid of them and started fresh with a semi-local shaper. The above is my second board shaped by Jamie Murray, which would eventually become its own model (The Sparkplug).
Honestly, out of all the boards I've owned over the years, nothing compares to it. I simply have the most fun on it!

Yes it sure is! It's still his favorite board and been in some nice barrels on the regular. Using same pad with k2.1's as pictured. Dims are actually 6'1", 19 1/4, 2 1/4 0.86

Gonna sound goofy but my carbon Aviso 5'10" RNF... thing was almost a magic board. Aviso tech was inconsistent and goofy but on that shape/plug it was wicked. Id pay handsomely for another one and scour Craigslist looking for one

5'8" Zamora speed dialer. It didn't work for me then, but now, I reckon I could use it. Although the 6'6" McCoy/Pautsch thruster I had was a fantastic step up, but I let that go too.
