Now isn't this an interesting headline to see on the news services:
"Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon announce they have agreed to cease-fire."
Gee, wonder on whose watch mid-East peace will become a reality? A visit from Rice can work wonders. Imagine that. A mid-East peace plan that works, under the watchful eye of GW Bush. Hope he gets to build a bigger library.

So now the Middle East is just Palestine and Israel?

Another Cease-Fire? Gee, I wonder how long this one will last.
Give it up Tex. If there is peace in Palestein while GW is in the White house, I'll clean your throne for you for the next 4 years!

Better get out the Lysol, sonny! And do a good job getting those bean stains off the bowl.
Yes, we shall all soon hear the immortal words of "Mid-East peace mission accomplished" soon enough.
No, wait a minute. The last time we heard that it was too early before the Iraqi elections. See what happens when David Frum stops writing speechs!

You're such a funny little monkey. Unless Condi whacked Arafat herself, I don't think y'all deserve a whole lot of credit here. But hey, if this cease-fire holds, go ahead and land on a carrier or something. Be my guest.

I am so happy to hear about this turn of events. Relative peace in Palestine and Israel. I am now beggining to think that amassing huge stockpiles of nuclear and conventional weapons, assembling and mobilizing a huge army, bombing various countries into submission, and spreading terror and fear throughout a region really is the path to peace. Seriously. What do I know?

Lawdy Mama my children, it just keeps on getting worse fo SmackdeeDaddy:
Bush shows highest ratings in a year
Tue Feb 8, 7:20 AM ET
By Jill Lawrence, USA TODAY
Americans give President Bush his highest job-approval rating in more than a year and show cautious optimism about Iraq in a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken shortly after historic Iraqi elections.
In reversals from a month ago, majorities now say that going to war in Iraq was not a mistake, that things are going well there and that it's likely democracy will be established in Iraq.
Bush's approval rating of 57% is his highest since he reached 59% in January 2004, shortly after U.S. troops captured Saddam Hussein. End
And you know, it is only Tuesday. Damn, we could all be holding hands and singing a bipartisan strokefest version of Kumbaya by Thursday!
Damn, I love it when a plan comes together!

Sheet kabang!
It justs keeps getting better. Look at the latest influential world leader that joined the Bush bashing brigade. Those Bush bashers have a very good spokesman in Robert Mugabe:
Zimbabwe Brands Nobel Laureate Tutu a 'Sellout'
By Cris Chinaka
HARARE, Zimbabwe (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's ruling party branded Archbishop Desmond Tutu "a sellout" Tuesday for attacking its democratic credentials, and accused the Nobel peace laureate of worshipping Tony Blair (news - web sites) and George W. Bush as "false gods." End
Now, let's see, Mugabe brands Bush a "false god", Mugabe bashes Bush, Mugabe disrespects Des Tutu. Damn! There is a guy who has his sht together, could become a new idol of the liberal world. Go figure. Ain't that a shtkicker!

first of all i'm stoked something positive can be attributed to our being over there.
secondly - gwb's ratings are paltry relative to average prez ratings during a war.
thirdly - he also got a sheeple cheer immediately after the infamous "mission accomplished" f-uckup y'all were gloating about at the time so...
