I would never saying anything of the sort in print .
And that ordinance was thrown out. You can still buy and own a handgun in San Francisco, California, though for the life of me, I don't know anyone who has one, or needs one, wants one, carries one, uses one, and so forth.
In fact, claw hammers are cheaper, quieter, have no waiting period, leave no GR or case behind (another plus for revolvers) (wait....I did not say that), and are not prone to jam, though they do require a certain "close-quarters" mind set.
