seriously, the fact that you and your goober friends have a betting pool on whether or not el nino occurs just exposes and belies the fact that all of your stupid computer models are just rolling dice.
no matter how cleverly you think you program your computers, they will never even closely approximate the complexity of the systems that comprise our oceanic and atmospheric engines that drive such things as weather, local, regional, global climates, or events like el nino.
anyway, since this is surfing related, why do you even care? you don't even surf.
should we thank you if an el nino event does develop?
Because all the data you possess on the subject is so much more reliable, right?
