Thought I'd get a little more specific to see if anyone that is either riding this board or has ridden the board has some input.
Some of the complaints I've heard is that it requires clean conditions to work. Since it's rarely the case in the southbay for the conditions to stay clean, is this true? How much chop is too much for this stick?
I'm really looking to round out my quiver with a groveller with some speed. Something that will be loose and fast. If the waves are gonna have some push and the face is going vertical, I'm gonna bring out my shorty. I hear a lot of reviews that this board is fast and skatey. So what are people preferring between this and a more classic fish design?
With so many great shapers in socal, I don't want to miss out on a better option from a local. Scouring the internet, it looks like people either love or hate this board. I have gotten the feeling that most of the people who hate also hate CI or feel that they've gone south in RnD. Please try not to continue that debate on this string or who is riding for who.
Thanks for any advice!
