All this Twinzer talk got me intrigued, so I threw together this retrofit:
Rode it this morning. Fast and skimmy through weak, windswell-y sections. Had pretty decent projection off the bottom, arc-y, not so pivot-y. A pad might help, as I was unsure of my backfoot placement.
Not sure about the keels, but those were the fins at hand. More upright, MR-style twins might be better- move that trailing edge up a bit.
The board looks older than it is- it was shaped from BioFoam.
I'll give it a few more goes and report back.
