Usually, I am all about being internet tough guy when dicussing pro surfers' surfing, but this downplaying of what happened to Maya is ridiculous.
I understand that she is a Brazzo (strike 1) and primarily a tow surfer (strike 2) but Teauphoo is probably the most ridiculous wave on the planet, and also one of the few that CANNOT be paddled at that size. She is out there charging on that waves that 90% of this erBB wouldn't even feel comfortable on a boat in the channel
