Got my cast today. Proximal pole scaphoid fracture. Doc said most people come to her at 6 months with this injury, thinking it's just a sprain. Healing time is 3 months if it heals correctly, which it's notorious for not doing.
AJ, I would say that if it still hurts, it probably can't hurt to get a CT scan. Had I not done it, I'd be sitting around waiting for it to get better, thinking it was just a sprain.
