I agree with you in principle but it's not a "take off on biggest closeout" contest. It's about who surfed the better quality wave with getting most out of the wave without falling/getting pinched/shutdown.

You might not like it but Medina had much better combinations of barrels thatn his oppponents.
Also, this is just a general comment not at you, but I would put $100 that if it were Kolohe that got the medium sized barrels, most people would be all about "Well he's just 17 that's his first time a PIpe at least he got barrelled good for him hurrrrrrrrrr. Stocked for him he got into quarters" or some chit.
But it's a Brazilian kid so it's, "He's a p*ssy".
