I've been following this thread for a while and finally decided to give it a go and shape my own handplane. Ended Up thinning it out too much while I was trying to even it up, kinda made the nose rocker and concave more mellow as well. Got some ideas for the strap, gonna mess with that sometime later this week after I finish it. Thanks to the how-to on the Handplane Goodness blog for the inspiration.
This is really my first woodworking experience as well, pretty happy with how it turned out even though its super thin.
