The board in question will deflect under load in a land test about an inch, and less when being ridden, how far do you think the panel will deflect?
I can show you, and will do so after I've sanded all the panels, I'm about halfway through them today.
Lets see a 14' board hit by a wave of 5' height will deflect a lot. I realize that this boards are not meant to be ridden in waves of this size. So I guess it does not matter.
