A minute or so for each transition is good. A reverse is actually a little easier in terms of transitions.
Yeah, wear your swimsuit for the whole thing. Do you have bike shorts? If so, wear them for the run and bike, then take them off for the swim.
Have your helmet resting on your handlebars so you can't forget to put it on before leaving transition (instant DQ).
Are you going to wear your running shoes on the bike, or do you have bike shoes?
