The thought behind this thread was to see if the wax manufactures were really producing something HP for HP type of surfing. The kind of surfing being done these days in contest needed wax to be HP is as HP does.
There were so secretive formulas that it was only used among pro's to help with airs and power hacking and whatnot in heats and really not talked about too much until the last several months. Now it is heavily and readily available, I was just curious how it went.
the problem is that it sounds messy as stated and cost quite a bit more.
But waxurdyl was well put in saying to keep a little of both.
Agreed, I bring both to the beach these days, depends on what I'm feeling like, nice to have options.
