Jon is the real deal. Pipe, Sunset, wherever. He's towed outside Logs and other places Huuuuuuuge and surfs better in gnarlier waves than all but a very few shapers. He knows firsthand what the boards have to do. Think about it. It can't hurt that the guy making the board can actually use it at a very high level.
Also, would all you armchair kooks quit speculating about the Pyzel/John-John thing? Notice that the people here who actually know the concerned parties the best are saying the least? What happens will, and the outcome is neither affected by anyone here, nor any concern of ours. Bunch of old ladies having tea and cookies....
