I would have to agree with the theme of 'try and not let disrespecting kooks annoy me'. Every once and a while it gets to me. But I have always thought about being effective vs. being right. Sure, it's right to say plenty of people that surf haven't learned the proper etiquette. With the sheer numbers, edumacating those masses would be like herding cats. So, that option is out. Unless fighting is an option for you.Then go for it. Are the waves really that good/big/consequential?
Maybe it is because I've surfed a lot of uncrowded days when I was younger, or because I don't surf as much as I used to, but it is very hard to get worked up about insta crowds.
