i dont understand all you cry babies on here. dane made a board. took it to hawaii and got barreled like crazy at home at strand on it. the board worked. people all over the world saw him riding it on his website. every god damn hipster and wanna be shaper has or makes a mini simms. they are nothing new and nothing original... heres some inside info- they all ride the same, its a chopped in half longboard with fins thrown on the rail. its not Tomo rocket science!
so what if dane and ci made a board to sell. thats their job. if you dont like ci, well then get over it. stop crying, buy your new assymetirical twinzer bonzer hull that makes you surf like slater and go have fun
if it's so harmless then why did ci put a full blown disclaimer in place of the board description. this is how i read it.
"umm so yeah dane shaped this. he didn't really do it right. the feedback we've been getting on it is not great."
just b/c he found it went straight pretty well and decided to get barreled and do airs on it doesn't mean ci has to sell it too. you don't have to sell everything you make.
there might as well be a 'no refunds' sticker on the front of it.
