. . . and you drove home all depressed and frustrated? Like this:
Well, it happened to me this morning (worst session in a year, hands down. And the waves were GOOD. ) Big deal, right? Well, the thing is, whenever I have a crappy session I stay depressed and irritable until I have a good one. And I might not surf again for a week! I am sad.
What do you guys do to wash away the shame and disappointment of a major surf fail? Besides going surfing again, I mean. I feel like the whole world is going at me. I feel like little babies and housepets are looking at me like "ha ha, you SUCK!"
Basically, I feel like I'm off my meds. Which I am, kind of. Surfing is Nature's Prozac. Anyway, am I the only one who gets like this? How to do a mental reset without the aid of substances? Or waves.
Sometimes I hate surfing.
-------------------- . . . and your little dog, too!
