Pascuales in '89 was my longest hold down and first time I had to climb my leash on the biggest day I have ever surfed. My worse beating was Salsa Brava because I was becoming impatient due to a lack of sets and frustrated because I blew my last good wave. I hung inside hoping to redeem my self and here comes a solid 8' set breaking top to bottom and me caught inside

I held on to my board and tried to duck dive and got impacted on the reef but luckily I held on and my board took all the impact. I got washed on the inside reef and was left w/ half a board and a very bloody arm

RIP my favorite 6'9" pintail single fin
